* Dana Wisehart, former legislative analyst for the Assn. of California Water Agencies, has joined the United Water Conservation District as manager of public affairs, programs and contracts. Wisehart worked for ACWA for 12 years in Sacramento. United Water, a member of ACWA, provides water to western Ventura County.

* Marc B. Bleecher, executive director of Ventura County Hematology Oncology Specialists, has gained admission as a nominee in the American College of Medical Practice Executives. By earning continuing education credits and following other requirements, he may advance from nominee to certified member to fellow status within the college. Bleecher also is on the advisory board for the Cancer Center of Ventura County.

* Gerald Clark, a general agent in Camarillo, has been inducted into Kansas City Life Insurance Co.’s new $50 Million Club. Clark joined the company in 1978 and has more than $96 million of life insurance in force. He has qualified for the company’s elite Top Hatters Conference seven times and the President’s Club 11 times. He also is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

* Neal Andrews, owner of Horizon Management Services in Ventura, received an Apex Award of Excellence for his work in public communications for the second straight year. His winning entry in the national competition was in the category of news and media writing. Andrews previously has won awards for his work in other areas of public relations, marketing and communications.
