There’s One in Every City: Nonprofits to Be Saluted

Thirty-one nonprofit groups--one from each city in Orange County--will be honored Monday for making a difference in their communities.

A dinner and reception at 6 p.m. at the Bowers Museum, 2002 N. Main St., Santa Ana, will salute these 1997 Good Neighbors:

1. Anaheim, Halcyon-Anaheim Interfaith Shelter.

2. Brea, Brea Youth & Family Services.

3. Buena Park, Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park.

4. Costa Mesa, Share Our Selves.

5. Cypress, Boys & Girls Club of Cypress.

6. Dana Point, Nautical Heritage Society.

7. Fountain Valley, California Elwyn.

8. Fullerton, St. Jude Medical Center.

9. Garden Grove, The John Henry Foundation.

10. Huntington Beach, West County Family YMCA.

11. Irvine, League of Irvine.
