U.S. Agents Hunt for Counterfeiters in Huntington

Share

Federal agents raided a house Monday evening in northern Huntington Beach in what one law-enforcement source described as an investigation of suspected counterfeiting and possession of illegal firearms.

Witnesses said a large squadron of agents with guns drawn made a forced entry into the house in the 14300 block of Riviera Drive about 5:30 p.m. No shots were heard.

About two hours later, several agents wearing Secret Service vests were still at the scene, joined by representatives from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, the Police Department and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
