City Offers Help for 1st-Time Home Buyers
The city is providing financial assistance to people who want to buy their first home, and application forms now are available.
Through its Downpayment Assistance Program, Fullerton has money to lend to qualifying applicants. The 30-year loans carry no interest.
Free workshops for first-time buyers are set for Aug. 20 and Oct. 2. A Spanish-language session will be Aug. 13. The workshops will be at the Fullerton Multi-Senior Service Center, 340 W. Commonwealth Ave. All but the October workshop will be at 6 p.m., which will be at 9 a.m.
