Body of Woman Found on Beach; Identity Sought
Police are still trying to identify a young woman who was found shot to death at Dockweiler State Beach over the weekend, authorities said.
The body was discovered at 12:40 a.m. Saturday on an access road in the 12000 block of Vista del Mar, said Los Angeles police Officer Angela Grant. Police had received a call there was a body on the beach.
Police described the woman as Latin, between 18 and 20 years old. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown, shoulder-length hair. She was found wearing a sleeveless, black nylon dress with a white stripe above the waist.
She had four tattoos: “Q Victoria” on the outside of her right ankle, “Eolais” on the outside of her left ankle, “Jimmyyo” on the left side of her pelvic area and “EYW” on her left shoulder blade.
