Church’s Mission Fair Is to Benefit the Needy

Morningside Presbyterian Church will host its annual Mission Fair from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. The event will feature T-shirts, tree decorations, arts and crafts as well as alternative gifts of livestock, building materials, blankets and other items for the needy. Items can be purchased for Heifer Project International, Habitat for Humanity and Church World Service. Lunch will be available; $3 for adults and $2 for children. The church is at 1201 E. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Laguna Beach will be celebrating its 50th anniversary from Sunday through Nov. 23. St. Augustine’s Prayer Group of St. Pius V Church will host Dom Laurence Freeman for an “Introduction to Meditation” from 6:45 to 9 p.m. Monday.
