Restaurant Watch
Los Angeles County health inspectors closed down about one of every 50 restaurants they inspected during a recent two-year period in which more than 82,000 inspections were carried out. Inspectors use a 100-point rating system to assess each eatery, deducting points for each violation found. A failing score is 60 points or less. Valley Briefing, B2.
