Scottie Pippen wasn’t kidding when he said he wants to be traded by the Chicago Bulls, and his wish list isn’t limited to the Lakers and Phoenix Suns.

“I think I’ve been treated very unfairly through this organization, and . . . it’s gotten to the point now, I don’t see myself carrying on with it,” said Pippen, who spoke with reporters after the Bulls practiced at Key Arena before their game Tuesday night against the Seattle SuperSonics. “I would rather leave things as I can remember them as a player and go on. It’s very difficult. I have a lot of respect for teammates and the fans in Chicago. I’ve enjoyed my 10 years playing here.”

Pippen, who is sidelined because of foot surgery, told the Daily Herald of Arlington Heights, Ill., he wants to be traded. The only part of the Sunday story he clarified Tuesday was that he specifically had Phoenix or the Lakers in mind as a trade destination.

Bull General Manager Jerry Krause, who has a long-running feud with Pippen, has said a trade is unlikely.

Asked what happens if the Bulls don’t trade him, Pippen--who becomes a free agent after this season--said: “I don’t know. I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.”
