Park District Brings Back Music Series

The Conejo Recreation and Park District is bringing back its Fireside Music Series at the Borchard Community Center, kicking off four musical performances on its debut night Oct. 10.
The duo Zelig will play rock ballads from the 1960s to the 1990s.
The Desert Wind Trio will fiddle their harmonies, while the group Gemini will perform original songs and traditional folk music.
To cap off the evening, the Thin Ice Trio will sing accompanied by mandolin.
Admission is $5 and refreshments will be served. The program begins at 8 p.m. in the Borchard Community Center, 190 Reino Road, in Newbury Park.
