White Soaks Up Playoff Moments
Devon White has been down the playoff road before, winning World Series rings as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays’ back-to-back championship teams in 1992-93.
White said that no matter how many postseason games you play in, they are all special in their own way.
“You never take anything for granted,” said White, who has played in 36 playoff games. “You appreciate everything because you never know when you’re going to get another chance at this. You appreciate every game, every at-bat, every situation.”
However, White wasn’t able to tell his teammates how to approach the playoffs. He said it’s just too difficult.
“There’s just too much going om with the media, the fans, everything,” White said. “You just have to go through it yourself.”
