The New York Jets apparently violated the NFL’s injury policy when they failed to report center Roger Duffy’s knee sprain last week. Duffy was injured last Thursday during practice.
The league office must be notified of all injuries by 1 p.m. on Thursday. For any additional injuries after that, a team is obligated to notify the league, the opponent and the media.

Running back Bam Morris, jailed last week in Texas, practiced with the Baltimore Ravens and is preparing to play the rest of the season despite the threat of having his probation revoked on a 1996 drug conviction.
