ANAHEIM — Police will join residents today to spruce up neighborhoods in the Vermont Avenue and Citron Street areas.
The event, including a barbecue, is sponsored by area apartment owners as part of an ongoing effort between the city and residents to improve neighborhoods.
Members of the fire, code enforcement and neighborhood services departments will join representatives of Kids in Action, Releaf Anaheim and the bookmobile to assist and provide demonstrations.
The cleanup begins at 8 a.m. in the 700 block of West Bellevue Street.
