MATCHUP: Defending 4-A champion San Pedro, ranked No. 5 in the City Section by The Times, suffered its only Southern Pacific Conference loss against Washington and beat Dorsey, 24-14, last week. Eighth-ranked Banning beat Narbonne, 21-7, last week and has won all four of its conference games.
