WESTMINSTER — Investigators are searching for a hit-and-run driver whose car was the second to strike a pedestrian Saturday night.
Nho Tran, 34, of Westminster was crossing Bolsa Avenue mid-block west of Weststate Street, police said.
He was first struck by a Toyota and flung over its roof, police said. Then a second car, described as a dark-green or blue four-door Honda Accord or Acura, struck Tran and dragged him about 150 feet, police said.
The driver of the Toyota stopped, but the driver of the second car sped away, police said.
Tran suffered severe head injuries and died late Saturday at UC Irvine Medical Center, police said.
