OUTLOOK
The Artists are young, inexperienced and undersized, but should be bolstered by their quickness in the defensive line and secondary. Holland, who won section titles with Corona del Mar, thinks he has established “a program” at the county’s smallest public school and made the team physically stronger. Sanico, the tailback, should emerge as the primary rusher. Quarterback Reynolds has good size and arm strength, but is still learning on the job. Ampagoomian and Brady return to the offensive line, and will be joined this year by Wheeler, also a defensive end. Kiraly and Pichay are solid defensive players, and Hellewell--a transfer from Northern California--will play on both sides of the ball.
