L.A. Man Killed in Crash on Interstate 5
SAN CLEMENTE —
One person was killed in a crash on Interstate 5 in San Clemente that blocked part of the freeway in both directions for more than two hours.
The crash occurred near the Avenida Palizada exit when the driver hit the center divider, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Both the north- and southbound inside lanes were blocked for more than two hours, but the crash scene was cleared by 7:30 p.m., the CHP reported.
The driver, whose name was not immediately released, was a 34-year-old man from Los Angeles.
