Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Shooting

Police on Tuesday were seeking a fugitive they described as armed and dangerous, the last of three men who allegedly shot to death a rival gang member riding in a car, according to authorities.

There is a no-bail warrant for Miguel Rodriguez, 19, of North Hollywood, said Los Angeles Police Det. Vince Bancroft.

“He’s possibly hanging out in the Van Nuys, North Hollywood area,” Bancroft said.

Last week, police arrested on suspicion of murder Arturo Acevedo, 20, of Sun Valley, who was already in custody on a parole violation in Stockton, and Omar Silva, 18, also of Sun Valley.

A fourth man whose named was not released was with the alleged assailants when the crime occurred, but he has cooperated with authorities and has not been charged with a crime, Bancroft said.

Krikor Telian, who police say was a gang member, was killed just after midnight April 26 at Roscoe and Laurel Canyon boulevards as he rode in a car with three other people.

According to authorities, after a confrontation between people in both vehicles, the assailants fired into Telian’s car, killing him.

The other people in Telian’s car were described by police as “associates” who were not in a gang.

Rodriguez has been on the run since the slaying, but he has periodically visited his mother’s house in the 13000 block of Burbank Boulevard, and has also been seen at Sun Valley Park near Sunland Boulevard and Cantara Street, police said.

Anyone with information should call police at (818) 623-4075 or (818) 623-4016.
