Construction to Begin on Brookhurst Street
Brookhurst Street between Trask and Lampson avenues is scheduled to be under construction beginning Monday and continuing through the last week of January.
The $642,000 project includes raising the median curb, landscaping, installing irrigation, relocating street lights and improving bicycle lanes.
Crews are expected to be working from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Traffic on the street will be reduced to two lanes and parking will be restricted. There will be access to businesses and residences throughout the construction period.
