UPN gets ‘Clueless’; ‘Honey’ shrinks to size of a KCOP kid series; KCAL unwraps ‘Mummies’

“Clueless,” the ABC series about Beverly Hills teen Cher and her “way hip” friends, can now be found on a new night and a new network (UPN, Tuesday at 8 p.m.). The comedy series’ season begins with Cher and Dionne facing their first day as high school juniors. For ages 8 to 15.

In the fourth season opener of “The Secret World of Alex Mack” (Nickelodeon, Tuesday and Thursday at 8 p.m.), Alex, whose special talents include morphing into liquid and shooting electric bolts from her hands, is now 16, learning to drive and working part-time for an unexpected boss. “KABLAM!” (Nickelodeon, Friday at 8 p.m.), the animated sketch comedy show hosted by cartoon pals “Henry and June” and featuring such offbeat segments as “Action League Now!,” “Sniz and Fondue” and “Prometheus and Bob,” begins its second season. For ages 7 to 13.

“Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” starring Melissa Joan Hart, begins its second season with a one-hour show (ABC, Friday at 8 p.m.) featuring a new but familiar face: “Roseanne’s” Martin Mull has joined the cast as Sabrina’s nemesis, the suspicious school vice principal, who has a yen for Aunt Hilda (Caroline Rhea). For the family.

A divorced mom and her two offspring buy a bathroom rug and get more than they paid for--a bona fide genie, who takes up residence with the family in the series premiere of “You Wish,” (ABC, Friday at 9 p.m.). For ages 6 to 13.
