Pleion Corp., a Santa Ana manufacturer of modular office furniture systems, has opened a showroom in the nation’s capital at the Washington Design Center.

The company, said President Clifford Gartung, wants to go after a bigger share of government business.

Among the most recent government contracts the company has won are a $238,000 desk-storage-partition system for the offices at Ft. Belvoir Army base near Alexandria, Va.; a $150,000 system at the U.S. Navy Medical Center in San Diego and a $102,000 installation at the Naval Inventory Control Center in Mechanicsville, Pa.
