* Larry Winter of the Lutheran Brotherhood in Westlake Village has earned the designation of chartered financial consultant from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa. Candidates for the designation must complete 10 courses and 20 hours of supervised examinations.
* John Grace, branch manager with Financial Network Investment Corp. in Westlake Village, has been named to the 1997-98 MVP Club, made up of the firm’s top achievers for the previous fiscal year.
Grace has offered investment services and securities selection in Los Angeles and Ventura counties for 18 years.
* Four Ventura County residents have earned the professional designation of registered health underwriter from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa.: Tricia Romp with Health Net of Ventura; Ken Gutzke of Fairway Insurance Services of Ventura; Karen Wood of Wood Insurance Services of Ventura; and Mary Bouchard of Kaiser Permanente of Ventura.
The underwriter program was established in 1970 to raise professional standards and improve the methods of selling and servicing disability income and health insurance.
