ACT Networks Receives Large S. Korean Order

Share

ACT Networks in Camarillo has received a purchase order from the company’s South Korean distributor, Korean Datacom Corp., worth more than $1 million.

The order, for ACT’s recently announced Netperformer SDM-9400 and SDM-9300 products, is destined for use by the Industrial Bank of Korea to expand and upgrade its integrated private frame-relay network. The bank’s existing network was supplied by ACT about three years ago.

“This order is the second $1-million order from Korea for our new product line and represents a further continuation of our expansion efforts into Asia [and the] Pacific,” said Martin Shum, president and chief executive officer.
