Police Investigating Report of Home Invasion Robbery of Teen
STUDIO CITY — Los Angeles police said Saturday they are investigating a report of a home invasion robbery earlier in the day in Studio City.
Officers were told that three men, at least one armed with a shotgun, forced their way through the front door of an apartment in the 12700 block of Riverside Drive at about 12:50 a.m. and robbed a 19-year-old man, said police spokesman Jason Lee.
The suspects then fled the apartment, police said.
The victim lives at the apartment with his family but said he was the only one home at the time of the alleged robbery, according to Lee. He said the man was not injured in the incident and was unable to provide police with a physical description of the assailants. Police also do not know what was taken.
“The victim was very uncooperative with police and very evasive in his statements,” said Lee.
