10 Post Offices to Stay Open Late on Tax Day
The U.S. Postal Service will keep 10 branches in this region open until midnight Wednesday for the collection and postmarking of federal and state income tax returns.
Most of the facilities will have uniformed postal employees stationed at the curb to make mailing tax returns convenient for motorists, a postal service spokesman said.
Individuals who need to find the closest post office that will be open late Wednesday can call (800) ASK-USPS.
Area post offices that will be open until midnight include:
* Burbank Main Post Office, 2140 North Hollywood Way.
* Canoga Park Main Post Office, 8201 Canoga Ave.
* Glendale Main Post Office, 313 E. Broadway.
* Lancaster Main Post Office, 1008 W. Avenue J-2.
* Northridge Main Post Office, 9534 Reseda Blvd.
* Santa Clarita Main Post Office, 24355 Creekside Road.
* Studio City Post Office, 3950 Laurel Canyon Blvd.
* Sylmar Post Office, 13700 Foothill Blvd.
* Van Nuys Main Post Office, 15701 Sherman Way.
* Woodland Hills Main Post Office, 22121 Clarendon St.
