Deputy Shot by Man in Industry
A Los Angeles County sheriff’s sergeant was in fair condition after being shot Sunday night outside a house in Industry.
Sgt. Dean Scobille, 37, was hit in the leg about 9 p.m. after responding to a domestic dispute at a house, Sheriff’s Deputy Jim Hellmold said.
Details remained sketchy. The suspect apparently retreated into the house and SWAT teams surrounded it late Sunday, television stations reported.
