Casey Snow (Crespi High) is giving it another try at San Bernardino, the Dodgers’ Class-A affiliate in the California League.

Snow, a catcher, started last season with the Stampede, but after batting .197 in 43 games was sent to the lower Class-A team in Great Falls, Mont., where he began his career in 1996. He flourished there, batting .321, and is the starting catcher at San Bernardino.

Snow, 23, is batting .333 this season while splitting the catching duties with Bill McCrotty, 19, who was the Dodgers’ sixth-round draft choice in 1997.
