Loyalty in Baseball? Holy Moises, There’s None
It’s high time that we fans laid off Mike Piazza for a while and took a look at poor, tragic Moises Alou, who “is still bitter” after discovering only recently that baseball “is a business.”
This is the same Moises who had just abandoned the team, managed by his father, that had invested millions in him to create a player who could lure the Marlins into stealing him away for a lot more money.
It’s too bad that baseball is a business, isn’t it, Moises? At least Piazza isn’t a total hypocrite about it.
