Man Accused of Brandishing Rifle at Edison Worker
A 47-year-old man was arrested Friday after brandishing a pellet rifle and threatening a Southern California Edison employee in Newport Beach, police said.
Investigators said they received reports that an Edison employee checking electric meters in the 1500 block of Eton Place was being threatened.
Detectives arrested Bradd James Thomas at his workplace on suspicion of making terrorist threats, officials said.
A pellet rifle was found at the suspect’s home on Eton Place, authorities said.
