Patricia Fili-Krushel, head of ABC Daytime, has been named president of ABC Television Network, making her the first woman to head a Big Three network, ABC said. Fili-Krushel will replace Preston Padden, who was named last week as executive vice president of government relations for ABC and its parent, Walt Disney Co., and will be the chief lobbyist for the companies in Washington. In her new post, Fili-Krushel, who had led ABC Daytime since 1993, will be responsible for all programming and business for the network, including television network sales, affiliate relations, marketing and daytime and late-night programming, ABC Entertainment and ABC News.
