Suspect Waits Turn Before Robbing Bank
A man waited patiently in line at a bank Monday before robbing it, authorities said. In what police say was a very quick and quiet heist of the Santa Barbara Bank and Trust branch at 250 S. Mills Road, the bandit did not cause a commotion or brandish a weapon.
Instead, about 12:18 p.m. the man indicated to the teller that he was armed, demanded money and then left after receiving cash.
He is described as a slender man between 20 and 30 years old and wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses with a light colored T-shirt and baseball pants.
