* Festival. Old Spanish Days Fiesta, Santa Barbara’s huge community and cultural celebration, continues through Sunday. Highlights of the many activities include a carnival, street fairs, traditional dancing, music and foods. Also of note:

The “Competencia de Vaqueros Fiesta Stock Horse Show and Rodeo” will be begin today at Earl Warren Showgrounds. For tickets, call (805) 967-6331. Schedule: Tonight, 7:30; Friday, 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m., 2 and 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, 2 p.m.

On Sunday, its the 32nd annual free Fiesta Symphonic Concert at the Santa Barbara County Court House Sunken Gardens. Beginning at 3:30 p.m., the West Coast Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Christopher Story IV, performs works by Gershwin, Beethoven, Bizet and others.

* Pop. Songsmith Neil Finn is featured at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Sings Like Hell series at the Lobero Theatre. Finn, of Crowded House and Split Enz fame, will no doubt be performing works from his new solo debut, “Try Whistling This.” Advance, $28.50; at the door, $32.50. * Activities. Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History offers two events Saturday. At 2 p.m. is “Condor,” a dramatic film about the California Condor Recovery Project. Narrated by Robert Redford, the film chronicles the complex and controversial captive breeding program. The film is free with museum admission ($5 general; $4 senior citizens and students; $3 children 12 and under). (805) 682-4711.

At 9 p.m., the museum’s astronomy club will present a public telescope viewing of the Milky Way. The club will set up telescopes for participants. $2 general; $1 children 12 and under. (805) 682-3224.

* Words. Small Publishers, Artists & Writers Network will host “Ten Tips for Selling Your Novel,” Saturday at Karpeles Manuscript Library & Museum. Beginning at 1:30 p.m., novelist Duane Unkefer will share his experiences with the publishing industry, plus offer tips and advice for writers. The library is at 21 W. Anapamu St., Santa Barbara.
