Festival. The African Marketplace and Cultural Faire takes place Aug. 22-Sept. 7, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., weekends through Memorial Day at Rancho Cienega Park, 5001 Rodeo Road, Los Angeles. The 10-acre global village features more than 40 cultures, 70 countries, 300 arts and crafts merchants, celebrity games, sports tournaments, seven stages of entertainment and children’s village. $3.
