BENEFIT CONCERT: The Glendale Church of Religious Science will host a benefit concert, “The Sounds of the Supremes,” led by a former member of Mary Wilson’s Supremes, Kaaren Ragland, at 8 p.m. Friday at the church, 2146 E. DEDICATION CEREMONY: Congregation Beth Shalom will be dedicating the Early Childhood Education and Day Care Center at 10 a.m. Aug. 30 at 21430 Redview Drive, Santa Clarita. A state-of-the-art playground was designed by Kris Inman of Moore Playground Equipment. The center, the only full-service Judaic center in the Santa Clarita Valley, will serve children ages 2 1/2 to 5 with full- and half-day programs.
