Renewed Reward Urged in Abandoned Baby Case
Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich said he will ask the Board of Supervisors to extend the $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever abandoned a baby on a trail in the foothills in May.
“Baby Christian” has been in a foster home since being found by a jogger and her dogs partially buried on the trail.
Sheriff’s detectives have been unable to obtain any viable leads on suspects in the case.
Antonovich said Monday that renewing the reward offer will send a message of zero tolerance for behavior that jeopardizes a child’s life.
