** 1/2 Cam’ron, “Confessions of Fire,” Untertainment/Epic. The debut album from this Harlem native--known for his single “357” from the “Woo” soundtrack--features dance floor-ready party tunes, sensational street narratives and numbing meditations on death and drug abuse. As engaging as his lyrics are, Cam’ron raps in a casual, conversational tone that saps some of the power from his otherwise forceful words. However, the set’s potent production overcomes his vocal deficiencies and makes the collection worthwhile.
