SAN CLEMENTE

The San Clemente High School Band won top honors in band and music over 11 other high school bands in its last competition of the season Saturday at the Mira Mesa Invitational Field Tournament. The Color Guard won third place in the Class AA Division. The percussion section outscored all other high schools but was ineligible to receive the Sweepstakes trophy because one of the judges wrote parts of its program.
