From a Times Staff Writer
Three small earthquakes rumbled through the Laguna Beach area early Sunday, officials said. There were no reports of damage or injuries.
The first one, a 3.2-magnitude quake, hit at 6:23 a.m. eight miles southwest of Laguna Beach, said Sue Hough, a seismologist for the California Institute of Technology.
It was followed two minutes later by a 3.7-magnitude quake in the same spot.
A third temblor, a 2.2-magnitude quake, occurred at 7:12 a.m. a mile from the others. Hough said all three were separate quakes.
