Jamie Storr stopped 25 shots and Glen Murray scored one goal and set up another in 27 seconds Tuesday night as the Kings defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins, 3-0.

The victory was Larry Robinson’s 100th in four seasons as the Kings’ coach. The Kings are 100-136-43 in that time.

The shutout was the second of the season for Storr and third of his career. He made his toughest save six minutes into the second period when he kicked out his right pad to stop Jaromir Jagr.

He got the Kings’ first shutout in Pittsburgh since March 7, 1979, when Mario Lessard had a 4-0 victory at the Civic Arena.

Murray, who had an apparent goal disallowed in the first period, scored his 14th at 17:59 of the second. Ray Ferraro controlled the puck on a faceoff and Murray got to it and beat Peter Skudra with a high shot from the slot.

Murray then set up Vladimir Tsyplakov at 18:42. Pittsburgh defenseman Maxim Galanov lost the puck behind the net and Murray took advantage of the turnover. He centered to Tsyplakov, who one-timed the pass from 15 feet for his seventh goal.
