Diamondbacks Land Benes for Three Years, $18 Million

Cal State Fullerton was a unanimous choice to win its division in Big West Conference baseball in a poll conducted by the conference’s eight coaches.
The Titans, who opened the season by winning two of three from California last weekend, received eight first-place votes to win the Southern Division. Defending division champion Long Beach State received all eight second-place votes in the poll.
Nevada, in the Northern Division, also was a unanimous pick to finish first.
Fullerton, Long Beach and Nevada each reached the NCAA Regionals last season.
