Robbers Throw Man Out 2nd-Story Window
A Los Angeles man was recovering from injuries Sunday after being thrown out of a second-story window during a home invasion robbery, police said.
Four intruders, including two men holding guns, forced their way into the man’s home late Saturday, tied him up with duct tape and ransacked his apartment. They stole an undisclosed amount of jewelry and cash, police said.
Before fleeing, the robbers picked the victim up and attempted to throw him onto the street below, but he was able to break his fall, police said.
The victim suffered minor cuts to his arms, chest and stomach, Los Angeles police said.
