2 Men, 2 Women Sought on Warrants

Investigators with the Ventura County Sheriff Department are searching for Gerold Lee Carambelas, 46, after he failed to appear for a scheduled court appearance, investigators said.

Carambelas had been arrested on suspicion of possessing dangerous drugs.

He is described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds with green eyes and brown hair. Carambelas has abstract designs tattooed on his right arm .

Douglas John Denoce, 42, is wanted for failing to appear for a court appearance. Denoce has been convicted of bouncing checks, drunk driving, giving false information to a police officer and battery.

He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair.

Toby Jean Chanel, 55, is wanted on suspicion of forgery and failing to appear for scheduled court hearings.

Chanel, who also uses the names Barbara Kisio, Jody Griffith and Jeanne Michaels, has committed traffic violations and tried to pay fines with bogus checks, according to investigators. She also has a following of elderly people who have helped her evade arrest.

Chanel is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair.

Authorities are also looking for Leila Anna Vavalette, 22, who is wanted for violating the terms of her probation. Vavalette was on probation for assault.

She is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
