TONIGHT’S GAME
CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (4-7, 0-1) at EASTERN WASHINGTON (6-5, 0-1), 7:05--Northridge is still seeking its first road victory after being defeated by Portland State, 83-75, in its Big Sky Conference opener. Northridge’s defense, porous all season, was especially bad against the Vikings, who made a school-record 65% of their shots. The Matadors give up a conference-worst 82 points a game. Eastern Washington fared no better in its Big Sky opener, losing to Northern Arizona, 83-48. However, the Eagles are improving under third-year Coach Steve Aggers, a former Pepperdine assistant. They won seven last season after getting only three victories in Aggers’ first season, and defeated Washington State two weeks ago.
