The last of the four workers killed in a Compton auto repair shop has been identified, said a Los Angeles County coroner’s spokesman.

Shooting victim Roy Maldonado, 39, also went by the name Richard Buttanda, said Compton Police Lt. Danny Sneed.

The shooting occurred just before 7 p.m. Friday at Prototype Hydraulics in the 1100 block of East Rosecrans Ave., Sneed said.

The other victims were identified as shop owner Jorge Barahona, 29, of Inglewood, and employees Jose Lopez, 24, of Compton, and Fernando Embarcadero, 32, of Torrance.

Two men were seen fleeing the shop in a white Chevrolet Camaro with a California license plate, Sneed said.

A “quantity of drugs and cash found at the scene” have led investigators to believe the killings may have been narcotics related, said Sneed.
