White Is Expected to Play
Senior forward Anthony White, who left the Oregon State game Saturday with 10 minutes to play because of a bruised foot, is expected to play against Stanford on Thursday.
White hobbled off the court after injuring the same foot he broke in October, which forced the former Los Angeles City College standout out of the lineup for the first nine games of the season.
The Cardinal (14-0, 3-0 in the Pacific 10) will be the fourth top-15 team the Trojans (6-8, 2-2) have played this season. They lost to New Mexico, Kansas and Arizona. Stanford, which has outscored opponents by an average of 19.6 points a game, has played only one team currently ranked; the Cardinal defeated No. 20 Rhode Island and former UCLA coach Jim Harrick, 70-69, last month.
