Supercross Was Great; Fans Were Something Else
After attending last Saturday’s Super Bowl of Motocross at the Coliseum, I’d like to make a request of the sponsors: How about implementing a rating system?
If you were looking for G-rated family fun, the racers and manufacturers certainly did their part.
In the stands, however, it was a different story, with pornographic beach balls, fans mooning the crowd, the single-finger salute, shouted obscenities and a life-sized, anatomically correct female doll.
If the organizers of this great event can’t be trusted to handle a few jerks in the crowd, then put a warning label for parents in your ads--like NC-17. Otherwise, I’ll take the kids to a movie.
