Police Investigate Brawl

Police in Salem, W.Va., and West Virginia Conference officials are investigating a brawl that erupted between players and fans after a Salem Teikyo-West Virginia State game Saturday night.
Police said a parent of a West Virginia State player began verbally abusing Salem Teikyo Coach Mike Carey after Salem Teikyo won, 68-54. A number of players and fans started fighting but the melee was broken up by the time police arrived.
