Council Approves Staff Position for Arts Center
Cerritos is beefing up the administrative staff of the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts.
The City Council voted unanimously Thursday to create a performance manager position in order to ease the work load of the executive director, whose job has grown considerably since the center opened in 1993.
City Manager Art Gallucci reported that the executive director often works six or seven days a week, sometimes up to 70 hours.
