SNEAK PEEK

At whom do I snivel regarding the photograph used for the upcoming movie “U.S. Marshals” (Sneaks ‘98, Jan. 18)? Why did you use a shot that makes one of the more attractive men in Hollywood look like he’s picking his nose?

Once I stopped howling, I decided to assume there’s a phone in Tommy Lee Jones’ hand.

I read all through Sneaks ’98 and found no mention of a new Cameron Crowe (writer-director “Jerry McGuire”) project.

Would you know if Crowe is working on a new property and what that might be? I eagerly look forward to his next movie.

According to trade papers and entertainment industry databases, Crowe has signed a three-year, first-look deal with DreamWorks SKG. He is working on an untitled screenplay under that deal, and has been mentioned to write and direct a biopic of Phil Spector.
