Raise to Be Considered for City Manager

Share

For the first time in three years, City Manager Kenneth Frank may be granted a raise.

The City Council is expected to consider a 5% salary increase for Frank at its meeting Tuesday. If approved, his salary would rise from $120,400 a year to an estimated $126,000.

Frank received his annual performance evaluation in a closed-session council meeting Jan. 10. At the meeting, council members “unanimously affirmed their confidence” in Frank’s job performance, Councilwoman Kathleen Blackburn said.

Frank, 53, has gone without a raise since January 1995 because the city does not grant automatic annual raises for its employees, Blackburn said.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall, 505 Forest Ave.
