‘Bathstille Day’ to Raise Funds for Dog Park

Share

Supporters of the Bark Park will wash dogs July 18 to raise money during the annual “Bathstille Day” event.

“Soggy but cheerful” volunteers plan to clean up the pooches for donations. Professional groomers will clip nails and clean ears. Pets will be towel-dried.

The event will include vendors, a pet photographer and a “pet psychic,” according to organizers.

Proceeds will pay for operations and renovations at the self-supporting park.

Events begin at 11 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. at the Bark Park, at Arlington Drive and Newport Boulevard. Dogs brought to the park must be at least 4 months old, properly licensed and vaccinated.
